Introduction 23> Islam is the religion of life
Islam is a religion that balances the life of the world and the afterlife. Therefore, Islam considers the world as a nursery for good deeds, and it will surely bear fruit in the Hereafter. All good deeds must be optimistic and there must be effort in life. The evidence that confirms that is:
Construction and development
Allah says: "He is the Originator of you from the earth, and He has made you dwell in it." (Bible reading 11:61)
Indeed, He created us to live on this earth, and He commands us to build and develop in all areas to serve mankind as long as it is not contrary to the principles of Islamic law. In fact, He considers those developments and constructions to be reverence for Him as well. That is why the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us that if a Muslim wants to plant a tree, then the day has come for him to plant it, if he has time to receive a blessing from God. (Al-Musnat 27:12)
Social participation
Islam calls for social participation and cooperation to build society, and Islam urges adherence to good morals for those around it and forging strong ties, as the Prophet Muhammad affirmed that being alone without joining others is not the way of those who call for good. He also stated that those who coexist in society and endure their persecution or mischief are better off than those who live alone, away from society. (Infomac: 4022)
