Introduction 25> Understanding Islamic law It is imperative for all Muslims to study Islamic law to apply it in their daily life, such as worshiping Allah and communicating in order to avoid ignorant worship of God. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whosoever Allah wills for good, He will give him knowledge of his religion." (Al-Pukhari: 71, Muslims: 1037) Therefore, Muslims must learn what their obligations are, such as how to worship, purify, and what He forbids or permits.
