Your Faith 79 What is our obligation to this magnificent Bible? • It is necessary for us to love, appreciate, and glorify the Bible, which is to be read, because it is the word of God, which is the true and great word. • It is necessary for us to recite, study, understand the paragraph and its chapters in order to reflect on the advice, news and stories of the past, and we must reflect on our lives so that we can clearly distinguish between the real and the false. • It is necessary for us to abide by the law, to follow the rules and morals, and to make it our way of life. When asked about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about his character, she replied: "Your character is a book worth reading." (Ammat: 24601 and Muslim: 746) The meaning of the above hadith is that the messenger in his life, all activities are practical as in the law of the Bible. He was fully accomplished in following the guidelines of the Bible, and he set a perfect example for all of us. Allah says: "Indeed, the rich messengers of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) are a good example for those who hope to meet Allah and the Hereafter and remember Allah in abundance." (Scripture Read: 33:21)
