Science and the Quran Page 10 of 118
======================================== Solar Loop ======================================== For a long time, ancient European philosophers and scientists (especially during the Greek and Roman Empire) believed that the earth was at the center of the universe, and that everything, including the sun, revolved around the earth. In 1512 AD Ncholas Coperncus developed a theory on the motion of the Earth, claiming that the Sun is at the center of the solar system as the Earth revolves around the Sun. In 1609, the German scientist Yohannus Kepler published a book on astronomy, which showed that not only did the earth revolve around the sun in the form of an elliptical ellipse, but it revolved around the sun on an axis with unequal velocity. It has become a fact that modern European scientists, using modern technology, have explained and interpreted the solar system, which includes both night and day in sequence. After the discovery of these discoveries, it is clear that the sun does not revolve around the earth's axis. Consider the mention in the Qur'an, reciting the Qur'an in the 21st chapter, verse 33, which means in Khmer, "And He created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, all of them."
